During morning observations, The client refused to follow directions and use respectful words to his teacher during morning stations. During midday observations, he was able to remain focused and ignore distractions while doing his work on the computer. During afternoon observations, The client appeared to be following directions during afternoon station work. QMHP-C greeted the client upon arrival to the school setting. QMHP-C inquired about the client’s morning. During morning observations, QMHP-C redirected The client and reiterated the importance of following directions and using respectful words to his teacher. During midday observations, QMHP-C provided The client with positive reinforcement and encouraged him to continue to remain focused and ignore distractions. QMHP-C provided The client with verbal praise to continue to follow directions on the first prompt. The client responded well towards Therapeutic Day Treatment services throughout the day as evidenced by participation and positive feedback. During morning observations, The client was unreceptive to redirection by crying and crawling under his desk. The client was then able to calm down and participate in morning stations. He also agreed to follow directions and use respectful words. During midday observations, The client agreed to continue to remain focused while working on the computer. During afternoon observations, The client continued to follow directions on the first prompt in his classroom. He agreed to continue to track his behaviors on his self-monitoring chart
